V Rising is our 2022 Game of the Year! Released on May 17, 2022, V Rising has quickly become a staple in the Thou Art Dead Community. V Rising is a vampire action-rpg community base building adventure game where you play as a vampire, explore the V Rising world, build your castle with your community (or in PvP), and take down the world bosses. V Rising will give players hours of playtime and has content for those who love exploring, building, and destroying bosses.

V Rising is currently available on Steam for $19.99. The DLC “Dracula’s Relic Pack” is available for $9.99 and the “Founder’s Pack: Eldest Bloodline” is available for $29.99, but both DLCs are primarily cosmetic.

Valheim is our 2021 Co-op Game of the Year

Valheim is our 2021 Co-op Game of the Year! Valheim, a community-based action-adventure explorer with RPG elements was the perfect game to get the Thou Art Dead Community together! The exploration in the game was outstanding, and it made for some memorable moments. Players could also spend hours, or even days building their houses and community buildings. The Thou Art Dead Community spent quite a few hours together on their Valheim server. The Valheim devs are currently still adding to the game as well.

Phasmophobia is our 2020 Co-op Game of the Year

2020 was a very strange year, but at least we were able to find some comfort in our games. Especially when it came to co-op gaming.

To kick off our new Thou Art Dead website, I present to you, the TAD Co-op GOTY, Phasmophobia! If you have not heard of Phasmophobia yet, it is a 4-player first-person view ghost-hunting psychological horror game with optional VR capabilities. It was released in September 2020, and even as it’s still under the “Early Access” tag, it is a wonderful experience best played with 3 other friends.

As a ghost hunter, you and your friends are sent to various locations to seek out, find, and identify various types of ghosts. You are tasked with taking pictures and using a variety of ghost hunting equipment to track down the ghost in each location before you are hunted and killed.

The maps range in a variety of sizes from a small house to a large asylum. And although the game could still use some polish, it is a fantastic experience for a group of friends that are sure to run into some shenanigans.

Phasmophobia can be purchased on Steam, currently at the full price of $13.99.
